Clean, austere, elegant, minimalist. The space seems more like a museum than most coffee shops. The barista likewise, more like an expert curator. And the coffee was up to snuff, well made and totally delicious.

It's so beautiful in here and the baristas are so nice! I got a vanilla latte and loved it. They were even kind enough to customize it for me. It's a great space to work, the only downside is the 2 hour parking. But today is a holiday so parking is free :) We've been working here for a few hours and loved it.

I've had this coffee shop on my list of places to visit while in the Los Angelesish area so we had to stop by! We always love when the barista gives us two sparkling waters when we order espresso. It's a nice touch and testament for service. The campfire latte was delicious with its smoked sea salt! Espresso was on point and yummy!

A local bartender recommended this place and wasn't disappointed. It's a studio style coffee bar with lots of open space to study or just relax. The barista there was good at explaining what was on the menu and how things were made inhouse including their nut milks. I got the iced mocha with almond milk and I can tell from flavor and texture that indeed it was made inhouse because I've made almond milk at home and the little extra texture of the almond milk is evident so definitely everything is made on location so it's fresh.

My friend took me to Hopper and Burr after we hit the trail. I got the frozen sweet latte and avocado toast and my friend got the cola and avocado toast. Everything was delicious! The avocado toast comes on bread thats thick and soft but also really crunchy. They put a soft boiled egg on top and it really is super tasty. The frozen sweet latte was not overly sweet and really hit the spot. The cola is tonic water with espresso and while that sounded out there to me, it was also super tasty. There's a fair amount of seating and the inside is very airy with lots of natural light. So good for a morning out.

I've only been to Hopper & Burr twice, both experiences were great and in considerably different ways, sending the shop straight to the list of my favorite coffee shops in OC.

Continuing my Flat White Tour of LA / OC - Hopper and Burr is a great discovery. Love the chocolate nutty flavor notes of the roast - just my style. Pastry is delivers on the artisanal vibes. Love the decor - sparse minimal but set with. The Latin Quarters of Santa Ana. They just did everything right. Beautiful Sunday Coffee vibes.

Absolutely! Here's the updated version with Stopped by Hopper & Burr and tried the Cavendish — a chilled banana milk espresso made from scratch. So smooth, naturally sweet, and perfectly balanced. The almond milk ricotta toast with seasonal jam and fresh fruit was creamy, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. Staff was super nice, and the latte art was fire. Definitely coming back!
